I’ve been a fan of Seventh Day Slumber for about 5 years now. Finally got to see them at a festival this past summer and, well, you all know how that turned out :)
Well they have a new album coming out next week, but this one is different. These guys are hard rockers at heart, but their ballads are just as amazing. That’s what I love about these guys, they can do pretty much anything and do it well! They’re not afraid to take chances, risks, do something different. And that’s exactly what they did with this album. If you asked someone to list their favorite praise songs, I’m sure we’d all start listing basically the same ones. Well these guys took those songs, put their own spin on them, then added 3 brand new songs.
So, this week I give you two of the three new songs: From the Inside Out and Surrender. I can only post the lyrics to Surrender, however, since FTIO hasn’t yet been released as a single.
