Sunday Song

My Saturday Song was on hiatus during Crowns Camp. But it’s back…a day late this week.

Since we were “grounded from Casting Crowns” during the Camp, I figured it’s only appropriate that I have a list of my favorite Casting Crowns songs this week.

Eventually I’ll have everything all typed up to share with you guys, but I can say that Crowns Camp was amazing! Eye-opening, enlightening, encouraging, refreshing, powerful, wonderful! So without further adieu, I give you:

Every Man
Who Am I
If We Are the Body
The Altar and the Door

I don’t want to post all the lyrics to all four songs, so here’s the Chorus for each:

Every Man

Is there hope for every man
A solid place where we can stand
In this dry and weary land
Is there hope for every man
Is there love that never dies
Is there peace in troubled times
Someone help me understand
Is there hope for every man

Who Am I

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I’m calling
Lord, You catch me when I’m falling
And You’ve told me who I am
I am Yours

If We Are The Body

If we are the body
Why aren’t His arms reaching?
Why aren’t His hands healing?
Why aren’t His words teaching?
And if we are the body
Why aren’t His feet going?
Why is His love not showing them there is a way?
There is a way

The Altar and the Door

Lord, this time I’ll make it right, here at the altar I lay my life
Your kingdom come but my will was done, my heart is broken as I…

Cry, like so many times before
But my eyes are dry before I leave the floor, oh Lord
I try but this time, Jesus, how can I be sure I will not lose my follow through
Between the altar and the door

And I just have to say a huge thank you to Mark for hosting this for us, amidst his crazy schedule! Hope we do it again soon!
